Two are by Dutch engraver Jacobus Houbraken (1698-1780), while another is by Englishman George Vertue (1684-1756).
All three form part of a large work titled, ‘The Heads of Illustrious Persons of Great Britain’ and were published between 1739 and 1740.
A rare set from the private collection of the late Dr John O’Hagan OAM.
