This exquisite set of 6 cake plates are perfect for any blue and white lover. Featuring the well known pattern by Minton called Seaweed. While they do not have the makers mark for Minton on the reverse, their shape, quality of porcelain, glaze and age shows that they are by the maker. The numbers attributed to the bottom could possibly be marks put on by the decorator to keep track of their work or if it was a special order item to keep track of the pieces. There were times when makers would manufacture china without their makers stamp as unlike now, people were not hung up on "brand" names like they are now.
Measures: plates measure 18cm in diameter.
Condition: They do have some crazing and there is some light discolouration to some plates. No chips or cracks.
Item is located in Brisbane and will incur an additional cost for delivery. This will occur post purchase between the buyer and seller
