On offer is a beautiful large lidded mid century buka basket from the South Pacific Island of Papua New Guinea.
Buka baskets are handwoven from a variety of grasses. These baskets are collected all over the world.
use for storing magazines, sewing items etc.
some slight fraying on clasp and one side of right handle, consistent with age, priced accordingly. Images form part of the description.
size is 50x45x25 cm approx. rare to find one this large.
