These are quite a find! A pair of stunning, stunning Nan Bretel paintings.
Melbourne artist Nan Bretel (1916-2014) became known for her exquisite floral studies. Amazingly detailed, these floral bouquets were painted on card and framed in vintage frames by the artist.
The gorgeous autumn hues depicted in this pair is an unusual departure from her normal pastel works.
One shows so faint water marks on the background but the floral bouquet has not been affected
Each measures 37.5cm x 56.5cm
