Hutschenreuther porcelain began in Bavaria in 1814 with Carolyn’s Magnus Hutschenreuther. His son Lorenz started his own factory in Selb in 1848 and in 1969 both factories were amalgamated.The factory was linked to Wedgewood in Great Britain.
