This Huon pine bed stands 1.29 m high, is 1.29 m wide and has an external length of 1.985 m and an internal length (i.e. mattress length) of 1.785 m. In the past the foot has sustained some damage to the upper sections of its posts, and as a result it is now slightly lower than the head. It comes complete with rails, bolts and cover buttons. C1850.
A modern king single mattress is too narrow and too long for this bed, so a mattress will have to be custom made.
